Tip for Pregnant Ladies with Stuffy Noses...

Have a stuffy, congested, can't sleep stuffy nose????? And are not too keen on taking anything?????

Try this thing.... it's not a cure but use this and then throw on a non-menthol "Breathe Right" strip. I have had two solid nights of sleep! Woke up to pee but not to blow my nose every half hour!

It's called the NASAFLO NetiPot. I purchased it at Walgreens for $15. It comes with enough packets of the solution to use 50 times.

I have tried the breath right strips & they don't really work so well for me. They seemed to cause sinus pressure.

As for the neti pot you have to BE CAREFUL with those saline packets, please speak to your doctor before using them!!!!!! I have heard ppl have trouble with them b/c it increased their blood pressure!! It is safe to use with just plain water minus the salt. However if you are planning to use the packets please please speak to your doctor first! Also be careful if your sinuses are blocked it cause severe ear pain. Trust me on that one. Happened to me. I like the old school towel over the head in the bathroom sink with the hot water running trick.

I seen the neti pot on Oprah once with Dr. Oz. He reccomended it. I would try it.

i use the neti pot all the time, it has saved my pregnancy from being miserable, I swear by that thing! i used to wake up all the time with a stuffy nose and now, i breathe free and clear, love it. i spoke with my Dr and they are fine with it. No problem with blood pressure here, but make sure with your Dr that it's okay.
