timing contractions
How do you do it? From the end of one contraction to the beginning of the next? Or is from the start of one to the start of another?

Re: timing contractions
I was told not to even count the time between contractions because they can be erratic. What my doctor said was that if I have 10 in an hour, call the office and then go to the hospital.

Re: timing contractions
I am so lazy i downloaded a contraction app.
It does two counts. How long the contractions last and how long in between.
Its a lifesaver cause I am realizing when I have a contraction timing is the last thing I am thinking about.

Re: timing contractions
Thanks!!!!!
My doctor told me that the timing wasn't as important - just to come in when they're too painfu for me to talk thru. But that doesn't seem right to me. I mean, that would REALLY depend on my pain tolerance. Maybe I'm good with handling pain so I think I'm ok when I'm really not. Or maybe I'm a wuss and will think I'm dying when I'm no where near it. And being that my hospital is a 45 min drive, I really can't get there and then be sent home. It would be too much. So I think I'm gonna focus not ONLY on the pain level, but the timing between.
