Re: timeline for tests
Every doctor is different, but here is mine, so far. Urine test to confirm pregnancy. Blood tests to get Hgc levels. Blood test for progersterone levels. Sonograms at 6, 8 & 10 weeks (I had a previous m/c so not everyone has that). Nuchal translucency sonogram at 13 weeks. Blood tests & urinalysis at 16 weeks for AFP, HIV, blood sugar, Rh, etc. This was about 6 vials of blood. Next, I think will be the Level II sonogram between 19 & 20 weeks. Other than that, they do blood pressure & urninalysis at each visit. Hope this helps.

Re: timeline for tests
Have you gone to your doctor yet?
Mine gave me a timeline with pamphlets on each test, what they are for and what I should expect.
Since each practice handles things a little differently, it might help.
The ultrascreen is the same thing as the Nuchal Translucency Screen. It's bloodwork and an ultrasound between 11 and 13 weeks.

Re: timeline for tests
I am going for my 12 wks appt next week.
I had the initial blood test at 4 wks to confirm the pregnancy. Then I had a sonogram at 8 wks.
I have genetic counseling next week also. It's not at my Dr. office. It's a different place.
