Not Drs appointments or test, but the fun stuff. When did you start shopping for furniture, order stuff & register etc?

we registered the day after the 20 week sono and we found out it was a !!!!! that was so exciting!!!

funiture really depends on where u r getting from. we ordered from Behrs and they said it could take up to 12 weeks to come in - so we ordered the beginning of September and it comes tomorrow!!!! i wanted it before my shower - which i think is in 2 weeks

but i'm also due the beg. of Jan. and i thought it would be crazy with the holidays so i want everything done!

we are a complete mess around here. I moved out of state, I did not want to travel back for a shower. Unfortunately, I keep getting these calls, don't buy anything..its taken care of. GREAT. believe me these calls are so appreciated...but when exactly are things going to actually be purchased and sent? Normally I am a complete control freak, I am trying to take a step back. We just moved to a new apt. I have tons of company coming, starting at thanksgiving, going to the beginning of Feb.

We are in a 2 room now, so the baby's room has a queen size bed in it for company. I am crazy lonely, so the company is a good thing. I think the crib is just going to start out in my room. Then we don't know the gender, so I think when the company leaves, we will go ahead and do the nursery.

I am registering right after thanksgiving....I will be about 24 weeks. My mom already ordered my nursery furniture because it was on sale, it was a good thing too because it is backordered

For DS, I registered around 20 weeks when we found out the sex. Unless this baby is a girl, I probably won't register this time.

I was late in ordering our furniture.... My mom ordered it the day I gave birth and it came in 10 days. I wasn't in a rush bc I knew the baby would be in the co-sleeper in our BD for the first few months.

I have been looking at crib bedding for WEEKS! And I also spent a lot of time looking at nursery furniture, and I actually registered for a crib and dresser/changer because my in-laws offered to buy us the furniture. Then I changed my mind, in part because MIL does not use computers and my furniture was internet-only. So I picked out a crib and dresser/changer from JCP that I liked better anyway, and we ordered it last night! It's on backorder, which is fine, because we have lots of time.

After my Level II on Wednesday, we are going to register for more things. DH will have a meltdown if I try to take him into BRU on a weekend, so I thought a weekday would be good, since we have to take off work anyway.
