I think the hardest part about leaving is the fact that Christmas is SO close and it is the time of year where you want to be around those you love more than anything!
Well, the bright side is: this is my LAST week away in another state, away from DH and my puppy, away in a hotel... Just five more days and I'm DONE!
Thank you so much to everyone who was there to offer a when I needed it or to give me a pick-me-up when I vented. DH is packing up the car right now - so I just need some last words of wisdom to get me going - b/c, honestly, I reeeeally don't want to go this time!
I remember that feeling very well. My DH worked in DC while I lived here for 4 months. He drove or flew back & forth but only came home every couple of weeks. You will get through it!!! Its your last five days!!!!!
