Time 4 a new dishwasher???

So the rust in dishwasher thread got me thinking...I received silverware from my good friend who got rid of them because she was tired of the rust. I have been putting the utencils in the dishwasher since December with no rust issues. Fast foward to this month, each and every time I unload the dishwasher the silverware has rust spots. Then all of a sudden I find some of my dishes are coming out with food still attached.

I have always used Cascade 2 in 1 pacs. When this rust & dirty plate situation started happening I began using 2 pacs instead of the 1 pac I always used. The situation did not improve. I do not overload my dishwasher and I use a section in the dishwasher which allows utencils to be hung individually. Is it time for a new dishwasher ?
