Tile mosaic
OK- who has done this?
I want to make the backsplash in tile mosaic- what level of difficulty are we talking?
Also- please recommend some places that would have these great discount tile bins like they show on Design on a dime!

Leave it to L bones.
Do you think I could make mosaic out of beach glass? Or would the transparency ruin the color- what witht he grout and all?
Also- since this is a 3- can I assume you will help me?

Sweet.
I like the beach glass in the john, but that renovation is a year off. I don't have the patience.
Hows about tomorrow night, when I pick you up- we hit Bwood Thrift for some breakables?
I have been there 2X this week so far- I'm sure they miss me.

we are doing one on the floor of our landing. most tile stores will sell predone ones, on a backing. It wasnt very expensive, you just have to cement it down and grout it

I'd love to see how this comes out. I want to do mosaics for a garden or patio decorations/furniture. But I'm all about the square tiles, and getting them precise with those litte plastic spacer thingies.
Cus I'm a square. And boring. ;)
