Tigger does not feel good
Tigger had some diarrhea yesterday, bjut today he seemed ok, and then when we got home form work, he was walking like his legs were borhterhing him...so we brouight him to the vet & he checked ouit ok--no fever, no fractures or anythign they could feel...bu he is haivng a problem laying down & walking---the vet said he is arhing his back a little to high..
But she gave us 3 days worth of pain meds for him if he is in any apin, bu he is having diarrhea again tonight...
What can we give him? I don't care for the vet either...and she gave us a 500 estimage to sedate him and do bloodwork and x rays...
please help==I don;t like seeing him this way!

Re: Tigger does not feel good
Rice and boiled chicken is good for a cat too, or rice and stage one meat baby food.
Find a different vet and have the cat examined again. Contact your local shelter for recommendations. I'm not liking that his back is arched - it sounds like there is something intestinal going on or a problem with his pelvis.

Re: Tigger does not feel good
do you know/think whether tigger ate something he shouldn't have and it's stuck in his tummy?

Re: Tigger does not feel good
he is almost 100% normal today...slow moving, but he can sit & his back is not arched & he can lay comfortably. He is cleaning himnself again, eating, and drinking and no throwing up or diarrhea today...
I will continue to keep an eye on him though and will look for a new vet in the meantime.
Thanks everyone!
