 tick bite :(
I just noticed that my dog has 2 tick bites (yes I saw the tick) :( The vet said to take tweezers and remove the tick and then use alcohol on the bite. behind my backyard is a wooded area. Does anyone know of anything I can spray in the backyard to help prevent fleas/ticks. I know about the frontline for him (as well as the controversy with using frontline). Any advice anyone can share would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

 Re: tick bite :(
You can get spray at home depot. We used it last year. We sprayed our whole back yard with it. While its not the best choice I HATE ticks. I'm getting itchy just talking about them. I haven't but any frontline on my dogs for years.

 Re: tick bite :(
my vet told us to use Vaseline let it sit so it suffocates the tick and then pull with tweezers.
Did you try Revolution? it prevents ticks, fleas and heartworms.
