throwing out a BBQ?
We need to get rid of our broken BBQ. Is there a certain way to do this?
Do we just leave it curbside?

We left our rusted out no good grill at the crub. 30 mins later someone took it!

Yes, call special pick-up, they will give you a date that they will pick it up. I just got rid of my old gas grill and was told to put it out on the curb the night before pick up.

Don't know where you live... Town of Oyster Bay does not do special pick-up... when we put ours out to the curb, the guys that drive around looking for metal to get cash for grabbed it in about 10 minutes!

LOL I put out a bunch of scrap metal last night. Some old hi hats, a flourescent light, total GARBAGE.
I woke up this morning and it was all gone. I just got my cameras put up in the front of my house but I dont think they were aimed properly. I'd love to know who took this stuff (and when). 
You can probably SELL the bbq on craigslist for like $50 bucks.

Post a free ad on Craigslist and some scrapper will come get it from you. I've gotten rid of tons of stuff this way.

definitely just leave it at the curb. my DH put out our old wall a/c last night (literally must have been 25+ years old) and it was gone by 4:30 this morning when he got home.
creatures of the night! they take everything!
