Those with Summer infant handheld video monitors
I have the slim handheld video monitor and even when I charge the battery now (its a yr old) on the handset, it seems like it dies in 5 mins?
Does this happen to anyone else's? Will they give a replacement battery?

The problem with the batteries they use is the limited number of times you can recharge it.
We try to let it get low between chargings, supposed to make it last longer.
How long is the warranty? Maybe you can get a new battery that way.

I had to order a battery from Summer. I think it was like $20 and the monitor works much better now.

batteries (like the ones in your cell phone) die after time. They don't charge all the way up over time because of use. They are meant to be replace.
Just cause you have a battery that charges doesn't mean they will last forever
