those with stairs....Gate question
do you have a gate at just the top of the stairs or at the kids doorways?
My upstairs is just 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a playroom. we Really don't want to screw into the wood banister, so thought to either put gates on all the doors or get one of those really big gates and put it at the top of the stairs which is an 82" open hallway.
Any suggestions?

We have our gate at the top of the stairs. We used THIS to install it. We got it at BRU.

I wanted something like that, but I don't think it'll work with the thick banister we have. What a PITA! I think we might have to jusst go with a long gate across. (We have a very open floor plan, not something you typically see in NY.) The long gate at least would also keep them from the railing at the top of the stairs too.

I have a walk through gate in the hallway that blocks access to the bathroom and stairs from the bedrooms. Works out great!

we have a gate at the top of the stairs and the bottom. we had someone come to our house to install them - royal baby safety co. he had this thing that goes arround our neuel post at the bottom of the stairs so we have no holes in the banister.
