Those with Expedit storage from Ikea...
can you post pictures of it in your room?
the closest ikea is almost 2 hours away from me.
The expedit looks like a good solution for me and i see you can buy inserts for certain cubbies to be closed or have a drawer, which i like.
Just curious how it looks.

I will take pictures tomorrow, but I have the 16 cube shelf with doors on the bottom and baskets in half of the ones in the top three rows. It is perfect for us in terms of storage.

Now we have their kitchen underneath instead of the art desk.
We use both systems in our playroom. They work great.

I don't have a pic. But we have the 16 cube unit in dark brown in our playroom and I love it. We did a combination of the different bins and doors. I think all of them look great in there. The bins are gigantic and fit so much stuff!

Target has a unit just like the Expedit and you can buy fabric drawers for it. That's what I use in my office and we use the fabric drawers on DS's bookshelves too. Might save you the trip.

I have the Target version in our playroom and love it. I use the fabric drawers too. FYI, they have sales on the system periodically, so keep an eye out!

The expedit has a heavier, more furniture-like look than the target brand (I think it's actually closet-maid). The itso fabric bins from target fit perfectly in the expedit and are nicer than any of the bins from ikea.

Yes i have the target brand for the smaller version with the fabric bins. I like that one.
However i was looking for something that possibly had drawers or doors i could shut, which the expedit offers.

I have the 8 cube one on its side and love it. Its really sturdy and wasn't expensive at all.
I bought bins from Target to go in it since Target had a lot of good colors that matched DD's room.

I have the reallllly big one, I think it is 25 cube. I use drawers, doors and bins. I also had the Target one but it is not nearly as sturdy as the Ikea one.

i have had the large (5x5) Expedit since 2003 when DH and I first moved in together. it has survived two moves, two kids and still looks good. I now have in my office is not necessary worth taking a pic of in its current state.
I also have two smaller ones in both kids rooms-- shown here:
eta-- I will try to take a pic of the office one cause I have the drawers and cabinets, actually- here it is from DD's original nursey. Also, I have used a range of baskets from Pottery Barn to Restoration Baby to Homegoods in them.
