I wanted one badly. It's worth the money depending on what you will using it for.
If you want a stroller to run quick errands, prob not the one for you.
But i love that stroller, it steers like a dream and handles very well on uneven conrete-like city sidewalks.
A friend of mine has one, i want to put my DD in it and run away with it But i love my Peg.

Some of my friends and my cousins owns the Bugaboo for their kids and they rave about it all the time.
I honestly believe in investing in very good strollers. If you like it you should get it.

Will you need one:
It depends.
They are great quality. Really! but you have to see what you would use it for. Most people use it in the City because of the pavement.
If it is just for quick errands, you can still use it because you want to but otherwise you might not need to go that high end.

It's kind of big and bulky. It's not that light either.
It isn't big and bulky, and it only weighs 17 lbs! So that makes its much lighter than most stroller, but it breaks down into two pieces...so thats why it a pain to take in and out of the car over and over again.

You ladies answered my question.
I'm not much of a walker. Even though I live in Brooklyn, I pretty much drive everywhere (hey, I'm a LI girl). So now I'm thinking it wouldn't be worth the money for ME.
I work in DUMBO (under the Brooklyn Bridge), which has crazy amounts of cobblestone streets. No joke, every mom has a Bug, and I can see why.
I think I'll get a Peg.

I went to BBB the other day and starting testing out the Bugaboo. It moves like a dream however the seat looks so small and narrow. My nephew who is 3.5 and is 52 lbs still fits into his Maclaren. He would have outgrown the Bugaboo at 2 and a half. IMO if I am going to shell out $800+ for a stroller it needs to last a long time. Even thought he weight limit says 45 lbs I don't think a 45 lbs toddler would be comfortable in the small seat. One of the mothers on the Parenting board has one and she mentioned the same thing. I live in Manhattan and I am going to get a Maclaren. They move nice also and are easy to fold up to get into a cab, etc. The new XLR holds kids up to 65lbs and looks very roomy and is half the price of the bugaboo. However I must say the bugaboo is a nice looking stroller.

Let me rephrase it then. It was big and bulky to ME when I looked at it in the store.

Even before I got pregnant I knew I wanted one. When I got my BFP I started saving $100 a month so I could buy it myself (I thought it was too much $$ to put on a registry). Then one day I was talking to my boss about it bc she has one and she said it wouldnt be worth it for the burbs. She said it''s not good for taking it in and out of a car and that it's bulky and doesnt fold easily. So...I decided not ot get one and am a little bummed about it, but I'd rather not waste that kind of money. I'll just have to learn to live with stroller envy
