those who used the 3 day potty method
What was your experience with it? Please tell me it gets easier.
Today, day 1, DD went successfully 2x in the morning (before 10am) but since then has had 6 accidents and no more successes. She went through an entire pack of underwear and isn't verbalizing or running to the potty for any of the accidents. It has been exhausting running after her all day and still having no success.
Just wondering if tomorrow might be better because I feel slightly hopeless today.

Day one sucks. DS started off by peeing on the floor and then in his Legos when he was playing. From there we had 1/2accidents the rest of the day....meaning we would start then stop himself.
Day 2 we had an accident In The morning and then another later in the day but that was it. He went in the potty the rest of the day. Day 3 no accidents and had had maybe a handful if that since. We potty trained mid July. We did poop at the same time as pee and also did nighttime.

Our EI therapist said to have DS wear underwear so he feels when he is wet. If they wear nothing, they're just peeing on the floor. Day 1 was horrible, day 2 ok, and day 3 much better. We gave lots of praise, singing, and dancing for every victory.
Don't give up now!!

Days 1 and 2 were awful but he picked up pooping by the end of day 2. I did EVERYTHING!!! I had brown m&ms and a tiny squirter to show how his toys peed and pooped. He was consistent with peeing after 8 weeks. 6 months later, he was going to bed in underwear. So for us, it wasn't a done deal in 3 days. But the 3 days got the ball rolling.
