eta- It may not have offended me persay but it did hurt me. I know that if it hurt me it could create even more hurt or offended feelings. Just because I am not offended does not mean that I can't debate or discuss on another's behalf.
This nation was created by people who were fighting on anothers behalf. Don't belittle a subject just because a poplulation of people are not admitting that they weren't personally offended.
