Those who potty trained - TMI
DS is going to be 2 and has recently began taking an interest. He has gone pee several times and today he just went poo "in" his little potty....it was more like on the side of, back of, stuck to him, etc. All I have to say is what a friggin mess...I'd rather change a dirty diaper
is the only solution to get him one of those rings for the toilet? I am afraid to "change horses mid-stream."
Any advice?

My DD's baby sitter uses those little potties and I have seen the mess. I never went that route, bought an elmo potty and she loved it. No mess just wipe and flush. And tmi but for some reason when I wipe her there never seems to be anything  Sooooo much better than a dirty diaper!!!
