Those who have the FP Laugh & Learn Learning Home - UPDATED with results from customer service!
I'm kinda p*ssed. DH finally put together DS's Learning Home this weekend and the mailbox door doesn't stay closed.
Does yours?
It seems to me that it SHOULD since there's like a little part that sticks out on the white plastic part and then the yellow door has a notch for it.
But on ours, the notch on the mailbox door doesn't click onto that and just opens right back up. It ANNOYS me to death.
I plan on calling Fisher Price when I get a chance, but I'm so freaking annoyed because I don't think there's a way to just replace the door. And I doubt they're going to replace it just for that. And I ordered it direct from MattelShop.com so there's NO way I'm shipping that sucker back to them for a replacement.
Things like this p*ss me off. I've had to call Fisher Price for like 4 different baby products. They've been great in the past, but I'm also worried they're going to think I just want to get replacements on things since they keep your info on file.
UPDATE!
So I called Fisher Price and they are sending me a new one!!!
I have to send them back the base of the one I have now first (to make sure it's not usable, lol) and then they'll send me a new Learning Home.
YAY!

Thanks. Mine does say/sing when we put it in the closed position, but it opens RIGHT back up so that starts up a different saying or song right away. It's SO annoying. And it just hangs open all the time which irks me.

We were missing all the pieces to our learning when we opened the box. I called there customer service and they were great! No questions asked they mailed me all new pieces 2 days later. Hope they can help you and fix the mailbox

ours closes but DS likes it open this way he can keep his stuffed puppy in the mailbox.. kind of looks like a doggy door now.
