Those w/ 1year old girls...

What would you want for your
daughter for their first birthday?
My niece/goddaughter is turning one
this week and dont know what to get
her.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

my daughter is turning one in 2 weeks and I am asking for clothes etc.. but i also asked for the 1 year frame.. the frame you put a picture in from each year..
DOes she have her ears pierced?maybe earings

At one year Emily got the Fisher Price Baby Grand Piano that is a great toy. There are a lot of learning table types of toys that are good at a year because the baby is able to stand up and walk around to play with them. My sister has a GREAT one that I'll have to find out the name of. I think it is by Leap Frog.

Also at 1 year we started playing with blocks that stack up. Fisher Price makes plastic blocks that you can see thru -- or even basic wooden ones, or even cloth ones. We have all 3 and she enjoys all of them.

Picture books with photographs of objects, like foods, people, animals, that you can start pointing to and labeling.

Push toys, like the popcorn toy or a small vacuum, shopping carts, things like that that will encourage the baby to walk.

And of course clothes!
