those thatgive reflux meds 3 X a day?

can you tell me why your dr.'s told you 3 x a day. my 7 week old is on 1ml of axid 2x a day but about 1-2 hours before his meds he seems like the reflux is bothering him a lot more. i'm wondering if 3 x a day would help that...?

DS is on axid 3 x a day....He needed it b/c it seemed to wear off and the reflux was bothering him....3x a day makes a big difference

We also give him maalox 2 x a day which helps as well

The doctor didn't say why 3 times a day, but I am guessing so that the level in their system remains consistent.

We started at .6 3x a day at around 8 weeks - which would work out to just about what you are currently giving DS.

I would call the ped and ask if you could try the 3x a day.

we did 3 times a day, every 8 hours to keep it constant
