By 6 months how much solids was your DC eating a day?
DS will be 6 mo. next week. He's not a big eater with bottles, but he's loving his solids! He gets:
Morning: 2.5 TBs oatmeal
Afternoon: 2oz veggie
PM: 2.5 - 3Tb oatmeal (I added a 2oz fruit here too recently)
Can I add more? Is this too much already?

Re: Those that started solids at 4 mos.
by 6 months, DS was having a oatmeal in the am, with fruit. For lunch, he was having rice with a veggie, and dinner, he was doing more rice with a meat and veggie combo. The cereal amount were around 2 oz
I don't think you are doing too much, and I think you will know if DC is still hungry, and then you will add more. If the spoon is in from of him, and he stops opening his mouth, then you know!

I think you are ok. At 6 mos: breakfast - 4Tbs cereal w/ 1oz fruit lunch - 3oz veg/fruit dinner - 3oz veg
I make his food so each cube is 1 oz. It says on the cereal box to give 4Tbs by 6 mos. We started w/ 2T at 4m, 3T at 5m and 4T at 6m.
On a side note - Hi Mac! Where have you been hiding?
