Those that shoot Lovenox

I usually alternate between my left and right side of my abdomen... as the baby and my belly get bigger I'm finding during the day - some soreness in the areas that I've been injecting. Anyone else find this? It's getting harder to see where I'm injecting over my expanding boobs too!

I'm thinking it's time to find a new place to inject. I hear injecting in the legs can be painful and my legs don't offer much to pinch, DH tried my hip/butt - that hurt, and the back of my arm - that hurt too - for a longer amount of time. I'm running out of injection sites...

i do the same thing....switch between my right and left sides of my abdomen. i actually try to do the lower area of my stomach though...i try not to go where its too tight or hard from the baby. this is going to sound nuts, but i find it to be least painful where i have stretch marks (which are gross) from when i was pregnant with my son. i'm a diabetic also and could never do my shots in my legs....my arms were ok, but my stomach was always least painful. i know its hard to see, but try and do it as low as possible...i think it definitely helps...and i unfortunately have a lot of experience with injections! good luck!!!!

I only did the abdomen. I used to alternate as well and the pain, if any, was very bearable

Now the heparin they switched me to right before birth was another story...I had a reaction to it and it made me itch like crazy, I have scars on my legs from scratching so hard in the hospital
