Those that don’t get Xmas cards through where they have the pics taken…..
Do you have to buy the CD so you can use a picture for the cards if you are not getting the cards through them?

sorry to hijack your thread iwas going to post this as well. In years past i have bought the cd but its $$ to do that and order through snapfish or another piciture site. If anyone has ideas i would love to hera as well.

I buy an 8x10 sheet of the pose i am going to use for the card and scan it at home Then i upload it into shutterfly and order all my prints to give away.
I never spend more than 50 bucks tops at those places, usually it's around 30 bucks

When I went to get Hannah's Christening thank you's made they actually gave me the CD for free. I dont know if the girl didnt realize and just threw it in the bag or not but I was all excited when I walked out.

So I have a question for you all- since I'm such a chicken  ....We had pics taken at KK for C-mas, and I got suckered into buying cards from them ( but didnt get enough)...If I scan them in, or use the CD , maybe I can oreer more through like Shutterfly or SnapFish you think ???...I always thought if it was copywrited they woulnt do it for me - Costco, actually has some nice ones too- you think they would let me ??? Thanks

I got them done at KK and sent them to Walmart (from CD) but they also give you an access code to retrieve them on - line to put on cards, it came out perfect and a lot cheaper than snapfish, whom I used last year.

nope....Costco wont let you do it unless you have the copyright - tried that last yr. you have to have the cd or copyright for them to reprint for you.

The quality in the CD and online are dramatically different. The online pics are low resolution so they will come out grainy on xmas cards.
I do a candid shot with my own camera for the cards and put the Prof. pic in the envie with the card.
