Those of you who work nights, need input!!

I was offered an UNBELIEVABLE offer at my job to cover nights in the ER a few times per week, so I already work part time but would also be working nights would be a HUGE increase in my pay. Is it hard to be away from your family at night? TIAChat Icon

Nights as in overnight or nights as in the late shift?
I prefer my 2-10pm shift to a day shift because I feel like I miss very little time with Miranda that way on the days that I work.

either 3-11:30pm or 4-12:30pm. I'm gonna go for it, the money is too much to pass up, plus, it is not EVERY night.

Honestly I think that's a decent shift with kids. You might be a little tired the next morning but you adjust and if it's great money then it's at least worth trying.

I say go for it. My DH works 3-11 and it sux mostly for me, not Jacob. Jacob gets to see him all morning and into the early afternoon. But honestly, if the money is good, I wouldnt pass it up. I, as a mom would prefer that shift to my 9-5 shift. Good luck!

I think that gives you a perfect balance, a few day shifts, a few night shifts and then a few days off cant hurt Chat Icon
