Those in their 1st trimester
I am so blessed that we got pregnant right away and no negative history but i know the stats and im so nervous. When I think of whats going on inside of me, I think of it as so fragile and anything and everything could hardm it.
Any tips on how you are dealing with the nervousness/stress of getting through this sensitive time?
All I can do is have positive thoughts and try not to think of a God Forbid situation.

Unfortunately there are no tips to give. You will stress it and it will be all you think about. Being totally scared during the 1st tri is totally normal but trust me, it will be over before you know it!

Re: Those in their 1st trimester
I am in my first trimester and am scared out of my mind as I had a miscarriage last year but whats keeping me busy is trying to deal with my two kids, keep myself awake as I am exhausted all the time and fight the nausea...I am basically putting one foot on front of the other at the moment and wishing the days away until I am in the second trimester. Try to keep busy if you are up for it.

Re: Those in their 1st trimester
I just hit 12 weeks and was counting the days till i hit this point... like you i was always nervous (took me a few cycles working with a RE to get pregnant in the first place) that something bad was going to happen, i still worry... each time i go to the bathroom i check the TP just in case! But all you can do at this point is stay positive and just make sure you are taking care of yourself. When you go to the doc and see your LO on the sonogram you will feel a lot better!

Re: Those in their 1st trimester
I agree with PP to try to keep busy and your mind occupied although it's so much easier said than done. Coming from a person who has had 3 mc's, I can tell you that I was a ball of nerves throughout the entire first tri. Just starting the second tri and starting to feel a bit more at ease. Keep your eye on the prize and just try to make it to your next appointment. I found small goals like that helpful. H&H 9 months!

Just make sure you rest, drink lots of water, take your prenatal vitamins, and just take care of yourself... Thats all you can really do. Best of luck to you!
