We took DS to Blue's Clues at the Bellmoer theatre last week. Surprisingly, he sat through the whole show. It was our "test" show. I think he will enjoy it. We are thinking of taking DS now that we know he'll sit there.

Re: Thomas The Train at Beacon Theater
We took DS to many shows and most recently we went to Elmo Live at MSG and also brought DD who was 8 months. Theyboth sat throughout the entire show. I also brought DD to Bellmore Theatre to see Blues Clues. If for some reason Noah gets antsy,,,not a big deal. You can hang out on the side or the back. If worse comes to worse....you just leave. Go with a positive attitude..

Re: Thomas The Train at Beacon Theater
We are skipping that one but doing Bob the Builder there instead. My son is 18 mos and we have done a few shows with him and it is very tough. We did playhouse Disney in November (the first 20 minutes were ok and after that a pia) and I just did Blues Clues in Bellmore last week. He expires pretty after 20-30 mins (that with small toys and snacks) and it is a wrestling match to keep him nearby but we are still going to try again. I have a 4 year old, if I didn't I wouldn't take the 18 mo old alone. He is just too crazy and wouldn't be worth the money esp for the price of the Beacon. He loves tv at home (more than the 4 yr old) and get hypnotized by it but gets bored at shows. Dh and I are both going to this one (unlike Blues Blues) so hopefully we can wrestle him together. They both love Bob so hopefully it won't be too too bad and it is in May so he'll be a little older...we shall see...

I personally HATE Thomas the Tank Engine, so we won't be going.... but don't be scared - give it a try. The worst thing you have to do is walk around with him a bit to get it out of his system. He will learn from things like this about sitting and watching a show. I would love to take Cailen to a Dora show or diego show - I have to see when they are and how much they are....
