This was so beautiful...
DH and I went to a wedding on Friday. The groom (his best friend) has a son and they included him in the ceremony. His wife and son exchanged vows and it was an absolute tear jerker moment. Here are the vows she said to him:
Bride:
" I Lani, take you Justin to be my Stepson. I promise to love, honor and cherish you from this day forward. Although I will never take the place of your mother, I promise to love you as if you were my own for the rest of my life"
I can't remember what he said because I was in tears, but it was so sweet...
