This really cracked me up today
so apparently you can't have cats in our building- even though almost everyone does
so they found out we have one b/c the board pres. saw us bringing crokey in from the vet- b/c we had no idea you couldn't have one
so today I get a letter from their lawyer- telling us we need to get rid of the cat
or be out by the day our lease is up 
(they aren't renewing any leases- they are selling the units- so there was no chance of us staying)
what a waste- I can't wait to tell them tomorrow
and I never admitted to having a cat- I only wrote a letter in respone to their letter that we would be moving out by 9/30

nope- not in the actually lease
in a 20 page rule book they gave out b/c it's a co-op
I didn't have any pets when I moved in-so it wasn't an issue for me
and the people across from me have 2 cats and so does the person next to me- so I didn't think anything of it when we adpoted our cat
the manager tried to make me rat everyone out- but I would never
this building seems to have different rules for different peopl
my SUV is "too wide" for the garage- yet there at at least 4 of the same make and model in the garage right now- I have pictures of them
