This May Be a Long Shot
I'm looking for apartment complexes that are 55 and older complexes. Not luxury ones, but ones that are for lower/fixed income people (seniors) and they base the rent accordingly. These complexes also have a few amenities and I've done some research on this. The wait lists can be up to 4 years!
Like I said, a long shot, but I thought if you lived near one you could tell me what you thought.

There is a 55 and over in Mt. Sinai (or that may be considered Port Jefferson Station); right on 347. I can't remember the name, something like Woodcrest I think. I do know that the are very reasonable, however, there is a waiting list, and the senior's income has to fall below a certain amount of $$$; but the rent is very inexpensive.
I'll find out the name for you.

There's one is West Babylon but I have no idea of the price or what they offer. It's on Route 109. Good luck searching!

The place in West Babylon is called Holiday Square and the rent is about 1200/month
