This little piggy.....
doesn't understand why I have to see commercials for Sonic when there aren't any around!! Esp. since I have now learned that tomorrow is night they are giving out FREE root beer floats lol

I hate it when I see advertisements for food places that aren't close by.....I drool over those Dairy Queens ice cream commercials!!! Why aren't there any in NY???

My solution: DVR everything, and skip the commercials...  
I have satellite TV, so I'm not surprised if there are commercials for places not nearby. Cablevision, though, should be able to target a little better....

Advertising slots aren't controlled by Cablevision or by your satellite provider. Advertising slots are sold by the networks, usually on a regional basis. The region that covers NY / LI for many of the cable networks extends beyond just our little neck of the woods in NJ and sometimes even farther.

That's funny. I think the exact opposite. I don't like Jack and I love the Sonic drinks.

OH... DQs are in NY, they're just upstate... and it KILLS me bc DQ is sooooooooooooooooooooooo good!!!
