this is weird
this house in my town just came on MLSLI, the RE in in Georgia....that's weird!
I know people on LI are are looking for homes in Georgia, but I didn't think anyone in Georgia would be looking to buy here!!!
And although I LOVE my little rustic town I think 699k is a pipe dream.

but why would the real estate agent be in georgia? isn't that weird?
I mean even if the sellers are relocating to georgia, I'd think they'd list the house with someone here.

that is very strange they are listing with a REA in GA..NY does have reciprocity with GA.. but I think that the laws would be slightly different, wouldn't they? Man, 699K for a broker in GA is probably unheard of!

I want that house (I also want 699K). Love the front and the kitchen (and I love Ridge!)
DH's cousin's just sold their house in ridge for low 500Ks and it was very big, had an outdoor sports court (for tennis/roller hockey), big pool, deck, huge property.....so I agree 699K aint gonna happen

i believe the "Click It Inc" is kind of a flat fee service, with reps in different states.  the email has 'nyinfo' in it, so i think there's someone local to service the listing. i could be wrong though

The guy across the street from me has a huge house he has totally renovated in a really cool style-stone & cedar, beautiful landscaping & his property is almost 300 feet wide(which is unheard of for my neighborhood) & he is on the lake & you can see straight across. I'm sure his house is the best on the lake. He told me he is selling it for 700k & I told him he is smoking crack
I'd LOVE for his house to sell for that much but it is NOT happening in today's market.
However, if they ever do build the indoor ski resort or Nascar track on the calverton grumman land-then I'm sure those numbers will jive.
Even if any of the sellers of the $$$ homes in Ridge were able to find buyers willing to pay, I'd bet they couldn't get the house appraise for that much with a new mortgage co.
People can dream though!

Beautiful home, way overpriced for the area and school district. If you bought that house, I doubt you would ever get your money back. But it is gorgeous!!
