This cycle is a bust.

Went to the RE today and I didn't produce a single follie over 10 in 17 days on 150mg of Clomid. I have to go back for BW in 13 days, and then start Provera should AF not arrive on her own...which she won't.
He said that I'll move on to Gonal-F or Follistim.
Can any of you ladies share your experience with either one of them?

The same exact thing happened to me except I was only on 50mg of clomid. Had no mature follies. Moved right on to femara and injectables.

First cycle I did 150ius of follistim and 2.5mg of femara. I hyperstimmed terribly from that.

So this cycle I did 37.5ius of gonal-f with 2.5 femara and I was a poor responder.. went immediately to 5mg femara and 75ius of gonal-f… its cd18 and I have one follies that’s 14mm. I add another 3 follistim 75iu shots (we switched back since for whatever reason the gonal-f wasn’t doing it for me) starting tonight and I go back Thursday and that my 14mm matured and maybe she’ll have a friend with her!!
It’s difficult to get the right dose right off the bat with injectables so don’t be surprised if the first cycle you under or overproduce.
Are you combining with IUI? I’m not yet – doing timed intercourse if we can ever get the dosage right.

A big thanks to all you ladies.

Yes, I will be doing it with an IUI. Anything that will help our chances!!!!! He did tell me that I'll be monitored even closer than with Clomid (I didn't know that was possible, I feel like I am there more than I am at home!), to make sure I don't hyperstim. So now off to next cycle once AF comes.
