Things to do with kids inside

We frequent Once Upon A Treetop and Le Play Cafe, but I was wondering if there is anything in Suffolk- I am in Commack. Looking for something to do with the boys during the rainy days this week!

Do they get a workout at Once Upon and Le Play? From their websites it looks like more imagination and toy play? We go to wood kingdom on route 110 sometimes. It has 3 bouncers and a few outdoor play structures that they put inside. Mostly it's slides. It is pretty small so if they don't stay together it's still manageable. How old are they?

It is more imagination and play, I wouldn't say they get a workout. It would actually just be for my 2 year old, my younger son is only 8 weeks so he will be in his infant seat. Is Wood Kingdom good for a 2 year old? Maybe we will try there on Wednesday...also, is Bounce U the kind of place that a 2 year old would like?

my son is 3.5 and we have been doing to wood kingdom for awhile, we go to the one in coram and its geared towards kids between 2-5 i have never been to the one in commack

My girls just turned 2. They are very physical and fearless so they go nuts. They also love just running down the length of the play area from play set to play set. Two of the slides have high ramps/ladders to climb up into so if you are not comfortable spotting him on those you might have to skip 2 of the bigger slides but the bouncers and the smaller slides would be fine for a 2 year old if he is ok with going in bouncers alone. One is a bounce house and the other two are like obstacle courses (you can see them for most of it) that they go thru. My girls do them all. I just have to make sure they get up and into the bigger ones. There is one in the back that you have to watch out for because it is high up and there is a spot they could potentially fall (where there is a ladder to climb up into it -like on most park play equipment) The slides on that one are fast so you need to catch them at the bottom or stick and arm out. Some are fast and for bigger/older kids. They definitely work up a sweat in there though.

I like it because it is small. It's basically like swing sets without swings and some tubes/tunnels and slides. And then 3 blow up bouncers. I can see them both when they take off running.

I have never been to bounce U even though my cousin owns one of them LOL i have also thought about trying bouncers and slydos but I got intimidated by it (and by safari adventures) they look to overwhelming to me.

BTW, when I went to wood kingdom the first time they only charged me $6 each because I wasn't sure if it was ok for them. I asked them if I could go in and check it out and they let me look. They also provide complimentary lemonade, water and there is a basket of cookies.

We have been there a few times now. Call them and ask what time open play is for that day because it changes.
