I went over 10 years ago and I went to the Miro museum, which was really good, and I drank Absinthe. After that I don't remember .

Re: Things to do in Barcelona?
Definitely check out La Sagrada Familia (church) as well as other Gaudi spots like Park Guell.
Take a nice stroll down La Rambla - busy street in Barcelona with tons of shops and things to see and do.
If you are interested, you can check out the Picasso Museum.
I also went to a restaurant that had a live flamenco show as well which was really fun. I think it was called Andaluz or something.
Oh and most importantly, enjoy some delicious paella and sangria!!
Enjoy!

Re: Things to do in Barcelona?
We rented bikes and rode around the city - highly recommend. They have special lanes and special signals in the road so it's really safe.
We went to the beach, pretty low key but perfect as we needed a nap and easy day since we took a red eye. There is some really nice boardwalk area with restaurants right on the water, perfect for a walk or to ride the bikes if you don't want to go to the beach.
The magic fountains are really cool and free!
Dinner - check out La Fonda it's just off of Las Ramblas and always has a line. Its a place for locals and fantastic food and great prices!
Park Guell is awesome, it was built by Gaudi the famous architect. Check out the other Gaudi buildings in the city.
The city is just beautiful and really flat, so easy for walking and bike riding. Easy to navigate and get around too.
The cathedral is in the old section of town and is awesome to walk around. You will get lost but no worries, it's not that big so you will end up on a main street in 5 mins. Just tons of old narrow winding alleys and streets. Really cool.

They have a rental system there where they are all over the city and really cheap. Like at Placa Cataluyuna and other spots.
We didn't know about it until we got there so we rented them from the day from Fat Tire Bike Tour.
They offer guided tours too but we just went on our own.
Google Barcelona bike rental and I bet you will find a bunch - it is a big biking city since the land is so flat.
