Things that helped your baby with a cold...
Discuss.....lol
My 3mth old DS just woke up sounding very congested and lots of boogies pouring out when he sneezes. My almost 2yr old DD has a cold now so I guess it was inevitable he was going to get it too. I gave him a saline treatment, suctioned his nose and put a lil baby vapor rub on him. He seems so uncomfortable still and just crying. Think I should give him a lil Tylenol. His teeth are also about to pop on the bottom so I think he's been in pain from that all day.

Tylenol may take the edge off... I did a humidifier and had DS sleep in the swing or bouncy. Staying more upright helped him breathe better.

I guess I'll have to buy another humidifier tomorrow. I've been using it in dd room the past couple of nights Thanks for your response I gave him the Tylenol and a bottle and he's back to sleep

Our doctor had us use saline drops, shower steam, and humidifier. Took a few days but it helped. It's awful when they are so stuffed up.

Baby Vicks on chest and soles of feet. Saline spray for the nose and a humidifier ( cold one). You can give Tylenol if she is very uncomfortable.

I have the humidifier that also has the little vicks vapor tabs that you put in so the whole room smells like it while they're sleeping. Is he moving around a lot in his crib? If not, try to put it on a slight incline so that the boogies come out instead of backing up while he's laying down. Hope he feels better soon!

I stacked up towels underneath mattress to help my dd sleep on an incline. Day number 7 of a cold.. It's that time of the year! Ugh

Eucalyptus ( sp?) Drops in cool humidifier Saline MIST (no drops) then use nose aspirator (snot sucker) Warm baths in steamed bathroom. Go outside (weather permitting) for fresh air & some sun.
