Things just keep getting worse

So I called Dr. B's office to set up my intralipids this (natural) cycle and was told the $1,250 I paid last cycle was ONLY for that cycle!

I had NO idea, I thought it was to be monitored under him, no one explained anything different to me and all he did was prescribe me intralipids, we didn't even talk on the phone or email or go over anything together.

I am so upset because last cycle was my 9th IUI so I didn't have a hope it would work anyway. Had I known I definitely wouldn't have paid for it.

I am still paying off my 2k immune panel and financially as I just bought a new house this is coming at the worst time ever.

Does anyone have any ideas on how I can get the intralipids? My insurance completely covers it so I just need a Doctor to prescribe it to me.

His office is going to come up with a long term package for me, but I am sure it won't be cheap.

It just sux because everytime I have the intralipids I feel SO good afterwards for several days so I know it's going something.

Chat Icon im so sorry... that little tidbit was also a shock to me... but because im seeing him its less than if i werent seeing him...

Will your dr not prescribe them?

I don't think there is anyone within 100 miles that will prescribe them.

I don't know if anyone else.

And even if I pick up OON benefits for next year because I would be cycling with the grant program, I would still have to pay his monitoring fee, the only way out of it is if you're cycling with him as a patient.

Which I can not afford to do because it's 70/30 OOP plus the cost of IVF which is 12k. It's just not possible now.

No LI IVF will not prescribe it for me, I tried several times, even called my GP who obviously thinks I am mentally insane now.

No LI IVF will not prescribe it for me, I tried several times, even called my GP who obviously thinks I am mentally insane now.

I see Dr. T at SIRM and from what other people have said, they will not prescribe intralipids for people that are not patients. However..I would double check..this is only what I've heard.
