they "think" it's a boy!!!
So I went for my ultra screen today and I measured 13w1d. The baby was spralled out and had its hand resting behind it's head like it was lounging. The lab tech said not to go painting a nursery just yet, but she's pretty sure it's a boy!!!
We're so excited!!! I have been feeling it was a boy and both my mom and MIL thought it was a boy too. It seems that we're all right!

Congrats!! They are probably right...they took a guess with me at my 14wk u/s and they were right. Isn't it nice knowing so early on? How exciting!

Now we can start seriously considering names. We've been throwing them around for a while, but it didn't seem as real as it does now.

They are probably right at my 12 week sono they told me JAcob was a boy... a
I still waited to do anything until the 20 week sonogram when it was really confirmed....

Be careful...
We begged them to tell us the sex at the Ultrascreen at 12 weeks. The tech did not want to guess and tell us but DH & I were so annoying and kept asking him. The tech guessed and when we went to the 20 week sono we found out it was a  . Every sono since it has been . Just wanted to let you know that 12 weeks is too early for a definite answer on the sex, we found out the hard way.

DH doesn't want to get his hopes up just yet. We actually told her she didn't have to tell us if she couldn't get a clear shot. She said at this age the sex organs pretty much look the same, but if it's a boy it's at a 90 degree angle and a 45 degree angle for a girl. When i went across the hall for my regular Dr. visit I told her that the tech thought is was a boy and she said that that tech is really good and if she said boy, it almost definitely is.

Hey...no fair  I asked at my ultrascreen and they told me it was way to early, I would have to wait until the level II.

Yep This is what my doctor told me after my sono at 12 weeks. The tech had a very clear shot of our little man!

They had NO clue when we went for ours - they didn't even attempt a guess!!
