They are here
Stretch Marks!!!!!
The funny thing is I started to used Burts Bees Belly Balm last night just in case and bam, this morning they are there!!!
I noticed 3 tiny ones this morning on the sides of my belly. I know they are inevitable for some but I would like to try to prevent them from getting worse.
What is everyone using and when did you start noticing them? I'm 21 weeks today and I think thats early.

Re: They are here
I think it's so variable. I used a very $$ cream (Mustella) with my 1st from as soon as I started showing. No stretch marks.
With my second, I slacked & don't have a single stretch mark. I do have other nasty things that you can't prevent (I'm not going to scare you).

Re: They are here
I started with the Palmers stretch mark lotion from day 1. I switched over to Bio Oil at about 20 weeks and am now 23 weeks. I know if I am going to get them, I will get them but I have been doing my best to try to help them. I would just keep lathering up, anything you use Im sure will help at least a little.

Re: They are here
I used Bio oil after my first DS. They went from dark purple, deep and disgusting to very light! I also used one tube of mederma right after I had DS. I couldn't use anything during because I had PUPPS. I still use the bio oil now. They seem to get lighter and lighter even now while I am pregnant with my 2nd. The bio oil is about $20, but it lasts forever!

Re: They are here
I am 27 weeks and I haven't gotten them yet and I am surprised because I've gotten so big and I got them during puberty. My mom got them when she was pregnant so I feel like I'm doomed
I have been lathering up with skin so soft from avon after a shower and also using basq (spelling?) but that is expensive!! I am almost out and may get another one even though I don't fullly believe it does anything. Well, it does make my belly super soft!

Re: They are here
I used Palmers stretch mark lotion with my first pregnancy and didn't get any so I'm using the same this time. I switch it up and some days I use Avalon Organics Lavendar lotion all over my belly and thighs too.

Re: They are here
For my first preg, I was diligent about putting Shea Butter and Cocoa Butter all over my stomach and "love handle" area but I didn't plan on getting stretch marks on my hips and thighs...
I put the same cream all over belly, thighs, hips for Baby #2 and I don't think they got any worse.
This time I haven't been as diligent and I'm noticing new stretch marks on my belly button.

Re: They are here
My husband was actually the one to notice them. I need to go out and get something for them. They are bright red near my belly button. I had stretch marks before from my weight but those are white these new ones are bright red and gross looking!
