I did a big cleaning this morning because I have company coming...
between the 5 minutes of taking him out of high chair and getting us together to head out to the pool...
his room was destoyed
cushions out off couch and chairs
3 of my dresser drawers emptied out
legos...I live in lego hell.

I am thinking of setting up a designated lego hour once a week
for the last 3 weeks, I have some weird bruise/blood clot from stepping on a matchbox car

You know what sucks the most, though? NOTHING gets played with the way its supposed to and that annoys the crap out of me!

Ugggh! isn't that annoying! I know exactly how you feel. My hell is the fridge magnet toys... They are everywhere!!! And what does idiot me do? I go and buy him a set of number magnets... Don't even ask me why I would further put myself in magnet hell...

Besides the couch pillows never actually staying on the couch, and toys everywhere, DS loves to make confetti with any piece of paper he can find... He also loves Scotch tape. There are pieces of tape everywhere. He tapes paper together to make things, or sometimes he'll just play with the tape (and DD has to copy him, of course....). I am always pulling pieces of tape stuck to my foot.....

try a 2yr old, plus a 4yr old, plus a 5yr old.
Ive been training them pretty good on getting their crap put away and where it belongs.

Except the pieces get SMALLER and pointer! All the better to jab you if you dare to wander the playroom with bare feet!
I do have a cleaning lady. And the house is lovely from Wednesday afternoon when she leaves ... until around Wednesday evening after supper.
... but I still wouldn't trade my life for the world.
