There is a baby . . .
. . . opossum sitting outside my basement door!! We think it may have fallen down the steps and can't get back up.
I told DH that if it is there in the morning he will have to save it.
Maybe it's a sign...

oohh is it ok? Maybe give it some milk or something? Poor little thing, I know they aren't the most beautiful looking things, but it might be scared or hurt

DH says it is making its way up the stairs -- so that's a good sign.
I don't really want an opossum making its home in my stairwell, but I do hope it finds somewhere safe! It's so tiny...
