There goes 4 more vacation days....
DS has coxsackie 
I had to use 4 sick days in April and now I am not sure I will have enough vacation days left to take a summer vacation without leaving me with no buffer for the fall months.
I'm a little bummed.

Unfortunately no. We actually have a pretty generous amount of leave, but I have gone through almost all of my time off for days that DS has been sick or had dr. appts.
This first year of daycare is kicking my butt.

maybe as the time for your 'vacation' gets closer - you can talk to your manager about borrowing against next year? I know i'm grasping at straws - but just trying to help. We get a generous amount of time at my job as well - but we CAN (if you have the right manager) make up time, and borrow against the following year...
if not - take one of the 3 day weekends and make it a blast!!!! i'm EXCEPTIONAL at planning road trips, etc.(dave and i take one a year)...and i know a ton about the NY/NJ/PA area - i'd be happy to help in any way I can!

first year kicked my butt too but rest assured second year was lightyears better
