Theme for DDs room?
DD2 and DD1 will start to share a room now that the baby is basically STTN (WAHOO!). Right now the theme in the room is monkeys and has been since DD1 was born. I really want to change it to something more girly, but NOT princesses or anything along a princess theme. lol.
Any cute ideas? Anyone who includes a pic wins a prize! 
(Some ideas I had were a pink/green nautical theme; frogs; garden)
ETA....I just asked older DD how she wanted to decorate it and she said "CAILLOU!". Um no. It's bad enough we allowed that annoying lil boy to be the theme of her bday party this year.

Maybe do a nice shabby chic theme? Target sells the regular line for your older DD, and also sells baby bedding that pretty much coordinates. Add a girly chandelier from PBK (see my album).

i am trying to also figure out a theme for baby girl 
I am either going with a hydrangea blue and will do hydrangea purple accents with a demask rug and little chandellier, antique frames etc. (girly but not diseny girly - almost country shabby chic)
or a similar idea with creams and pinks.
leaning more blue/purple currently since our furniture is an antique white!

My dd room was purple and pink with butterflies.. Now that she just turned two we put up Abby Cadabby wall decals instead of butterflies.

I didn't want to go the princess route so therenis no pink in daughters room. We went for a garden/vintage nursery rhyme. So walls are rustic orange with yellow and green accents. Bird houses on wall, vintage Mary, quite contrary, and other nursery rhyme framed prints (cut out of old nursery rhyme book). White iron bed, patchwork floral bedding, garden accents.
