Their stealing Plasma and LCD TV's now
If you haven't seen it yet on the news but this year it looks like thief's are stealing larger items like flat screen heavy TV's this season.

Sorry, from peoples homes.... It was on channel 2 news today... I missed the area where they are having a lot of home robberies.

if its mounted to your wall, its locked into the bracket.. (if you use the lock) - on both of my biggger tvs, i do...
this is not a shock as there aren't that heavy and you are more likely to sell that quick vs takign a chance searching though clothes...

I guess it's a tip off if you discard the box in front of your house - wouldn't surprise me to find out thieves were scouting neighborhoods looking for stuff like that on trash days.

Funny you posted this b/c my co-worker was robbed last night! She told us today that when she got home last night her 42" flat TV and her portable dvd player with the charger were stolen. They came in through her front door!
I guess it's happening everywhere b/c she lives in riviera beach, fl.

welll....not for nothing...but those huge boxes in the trash on garbage day is a big tell tale sign...
