The weather
Is anyone else hoping the winter stays this warm?? We are mid January and it's going to be 50+ degrees tomorrow!!!

I will take cloudy days every day this winter if it means the mercury stays up and we never see snow!!!!
Exactly 2 months from today is the first day of spring! Just 60 more days. Come on 3/20!!!!

Sadly March and even April are still nasty in NY.
I remember getting off a plane from Florida 2 years ago at the end of April- I am talking the last week in April I think- and it was 40 degrees, rainy damp and nasty. I was in a sun dress and flip flops and was FREEZING. I couldn't believe I came from 85 degree weather to that. In LATE April no less.
But I'll take spring because it means summer is close!

Agreed!! I'll be ok with one more 6-8inch snowfall for my kids sake. But then back above freezing lol

Funny thing is- when it snowed 2 weeks ago, my DD was pisssed. She HATES snow. Kept saying- snow, snow, go away! Kept complaining how much she hates seeing it and hopes it never snows again.
Definitely my daughter.

God no! It's winter, I want winter weather. I hate this mild crap. I want cold and snow and winter!! I don't want spring in January.

I like one snowfall a year. That's it. I like saying oh how pretty and then I want to wake up the next morning and have it be gone and 70 degrees!

My mom always says that about germs too but i don't think it's scientifically accurate. If that was the case, cold and flu season would traditionally be in the summer...when it's warm , and the cold winters would have relatively fewer illnesses. But it's the opposite.
Also, your homes and indoor spaces where we spend the majority of our time in the winter are always at a pretty consistent temperature...regardless if we are having a mild or normal, cold winter. And that's generally where the germs and virus that make us sick are spread...in a 68 degree house or other indoor area.
