The VIP lite at Great Escape was the BEST idea.

I recommend it if you are planning on going to lake George anytime soon. Theme parks have always been difficult for me because I have a special needs child #1 and I have passed out from dehydration and the heat in the past, get migraines etc so waiting on linesor just standing in the heat for hours makes me sick.

I decided to just do it and honestly I think it paid for itself and made our trip 100% better :) I really did feel guilty for cutting the line, but I dont think I could have done it any other way.

You shouldn't feel guilty! You paid for it and anyone else could've The price actually isn't too bad considering all you get with it. If you were to buy your tix at the park that day you'd spend $50- so for $40 extra you get unlimited softdrinks, front of the line, a meal and $10 worth of games and $10 worth of merchandise.

Did you just get back? dH and I are going I. September and I am trying to figure out if it is worth doing Great Escape or not

Honest review for a couple in their 30s no children

I did just get back. I think without kids it would have been great too. IMO it was worth it for the VIP lite. I love parks like this but cant stand in the lines in the heat for hours b/c I can pass out so dont do it often. I wouldnt do it unless you do the VIP lite or the unlimited Go Fast Pass. The lines would take all day. Im not too familiar with the Lake George area, but there is an indoor waterpark/hotel right next door. My parents live an hour away so I drove from there. Have fun!!
