what is that, im 50% emfaced and no dilation.. i understand the dilation part but what is the emfaced part?

When you're effaced the cervix is thinning out. Dialation is when it opens up

I'm pretty sure you mean 'effaced' and I believe it refers to the thinning of your cervix.
