The next installment of, "Does your infant do this??"

Does anyone else's DC look like they are going to EAT their upper lip? Is it teething, or playing with their mouth??

She sucks her whole upper lip with her bottom lip.

Oh, and she is also tugging at her ears. What gives?

Well the tugging of her ears could be a sign of teething or that she simply realized she had ears.

The lip could be the same thing... she found them and now likes to play with them.

MY DD does not do the mouth sucking but she wants to suck evereything in sight which is pretty normal for her age (6 1/2 months).

My DD does the ear tugging and I am also at a lost for the reason? I am not sure if I should be concerned or not. Initially I was thinking an ear infection but she has been doing this for about a month now. What gives??

I was just going to say this. is she making noises with her lips? Like smacking them or sucking her teeth? My DD does that.

DD has been sucking in her bottom lip and saying "mamamamamamama" for the past few days. She sometimes pulls at her ears when she seems to be tired. Seems to be totally normal

yeah-- she makes loud noises with her mouth. Not all the time-- but I can hear her from the other room for example.

I know it's just a matter of time before the teeth come in-- but, I just want them to be here-- the anticipation is killing me!!

Yup Chels did this all the time and tugging on the ears could be teething...

Both of my girls love to pull and play with their ears. DD#2 started doing this about 2 weeks ago. Neither one of them have ever had an ear infection (knock on wood).

Both of them love/loved to suck in their lips I used to call DD#1 little miss no lips b.c she was always doing that. DD#2 is starting to do this as well. I don't think she is teething though (DD#1 didn't get any teeth until she was 9.5 months). They just like to suck in their lips...

DS does both of those things. I think he's just discovered that he can so it's exciting to him.

she sucks her bottom lip and she just started tugging at her ear. going to the dr on thrus morning and am asking about this.

My DS does this all the time. He will suck his top lip and all you see is the tip of his little tongue. It is just so cute!
