The name Lauren
What other nickname/ name would you take for this?
My sister's name is Laura so it might come off as naming her after my sister. Anyone agree? I have others in mind.

Lau... as in Law.
I've never known any Lauren with a nickname that derrived from her name other than that.

I knew 2 Lauren's growing up. One of them was called Lu (started by her mom) and the other was Lo (like low).

My sister's name is Lorin (pronounced the same way as Lauren) and we call her Lor
My Mom's name is Lorie and people call her Law
slightly different sound just because they are so alike

My sisters name is Lauren-- we call her Lau/Law.... I named my DD Loren, name is similar but def not the same & my 3 yr old niece gave her the nickname "Ren Ren" lol its cute. I say go w that name its not a common name & beautiful ;)
Oh & ppl never ask if i named her after my sister (bc i didnt lol)
