The men just don't understand...
all the things we "need" to buy.
I told DH that I need new glasses [well, they are my old prescription and aren't really strong enough]. He  . Jerk. I then had to explain to him about not being able to wear contacts in the delivery room and not really being able to put them back in after the baby is born and how I'd like to be able to SEE my baby without getting a headache. Geez. He still thinks I'm being selfish.  I'll also need them at 3am when I'm trying to measure formula and feed the baby...but I'm sure he'll be too fast asleep to realize.

That's so funny! When I was pregnant with my daughter I insisted that I needed new glasses because I would have all these people seeing me in the hospital and wouldn't want to bother with contacts, so I had to look good, right? I won!
PS...I did wear my contacts during delivery.
