The Martian
I'm having trouble getting into The Martian... did anyone else feel this way? I heard such rave reviews about this book and I'm just about 100 pages in and I'm just not liking it very much. Does it get better?

Yes it does...stick with it. The beginning was very technical and I had a hard time getting into it as well, but I ended up riveted and couldn't put it down

I'm about at pg 100 as well. It can get a bit technical but I find it very fascinating, and love the writing style.

I was immediately hooked, but I understand how his isolation makes it hard to write... and to read. Stick with it! It's SO good.

I'm only 50 pages in and I find myself laughing out loud...I skim over some of the technical stuff but really like it so far!

I finished this a few days ago! I didn't love it but I did wind up enjoying it more as the story went on. The technical stuff was hard for me to get through but I liked the rest.
